Cliff Note Legacy of Love

A lifetime together with a quick read and seven pictures? .. I smile...

February 10, 1973.. Our first date (wrestling match and Shakey's Pizza)... So young; one little girl in deep need of family stability.. Found by one much bigger boy, whose family loved and cared for her...

June 17, 1977 .. Married... First steps of "forever together"... We have held on to this eternal love with much needed Faith in God and a belief in (with oft failed attempt at) selfless humility through acts of kindness, repentance, forgiveness and service (the beatitudes and power of prayer) …

Our legacy? ... Two amazing daughters who are a great blessing and (to be honest) in their shared humanity have broken our hearts even as we, no doubt, have broken theirs...

And now? … We gaze upon our five grandchildren and consider how quickly this side of heaven is spent... But also... How hopeful a legacy of love can ever be...
