-Phrase from a baroque song, “More geese than swans now live, more fools than wise”

..Wisdom..Depth of character... IF they are, indeed, the product of open hearted humanity facing struggle and consequential behavior..and even, yes, faith in God... This phrase furrows my brow... Can we keep rising to the occasion as a people..if we are increasingly unwilling to allow for struggle, consequence...and even, yes, faith in God?...More concerned with the "fairness" defined by today’s talking points than we are concerned with the long term political/economic/societal/philosophical evolution this produces?...But, perhaps, if adversity IS the product..It will then, necessarily, produce wisdom and depth of character...In which case..I will continue to hope and pray for ALL open hearted humanity..facing consequential behavior..resulting in life struggles.. to prevail!...
